Guest guest
Dear Kim: Wow! You have accomplished so much just even starting this diet with everything on your plate. See if your doctor will allow you to take MSM (organic sulfur). I've been having alot of fatigued and I started taking it and seems to be helping. You are doing great that your daughter will eat the pancakes. Just keep feeding them to her just the way she likes it. She will get stronger. My kids love smoothies. We live where its hot almost all year long so we really enjoy them. I'll give you some recipes just as a guide. You can't really mess them up. The carbohydrates from the fruit and honey will stop Ketosis (See Adkins diet) which will hopefully help prevent weight loss. Here it is: 1/2 cup of almond flour (or any flour I also use walnut and hazlenut) 1 cup of filtered water blend well add 1/8 cup of hney or to taste add 2 bananas add 2 cups of ice (add more to get the mixture thicker) If you freeze the bananas you don't have to add the ice. You may want to drop one banana for not as strong of a banana taste because of the no ice. My daughter's absolute favorite 2 cups of strawberries 1 banana 1/4 cup of honey 2 cups of ice 1 cup of water or apple cider blend until thick I hope this helps. Please do not hesitate to ask any other questions. Eileen Brown daughter 7 years old ADHD SCD 7 months UC SCD 17 months
