However... for those on a more fixed budget, who like myself, have had to

until one is closer to ones weight goal.

NOTHING wrong with reaching into ones personal bag of creativity, and making

due....be it via thrift shopping, alterations... or entering a WLS clothing

exchange etc ...

Mandy, I just wanted to say that I appreciated your post very much. Alot of

us do not have the means to go out and buy all new clothes as we step down with

each size. I was brought up to make the most of what we had. We had struggles

like most all families did so many years ago and not unlike now where we

still have them. I thank you for the acknowledgment of prioritizing more

important

things. And I would much rather wait until that time when I have reached goal

and can go out and buy the NEW ME clothes in larger quantities. And I have

already cleaned out my closet from the first part of my post op stage and gave

to a friend of mine and my sister many many articles of clothing. They, like

me, have to live tightly on a budget. Again, I want to thank you for

understanding where I was coming from. God Bless and Skinny Wishes back atcha

chickadee!

just keepin it real wolf ... and btw, regarding this, .. you are my hero:...

When I read your daily offerings there is zero question in my mind where you

stand on an issue, sometimes different than my own.... sometimes we agree ..

but always, always you are " Wolfie " , pure, and true to yourself ... true to us.

and really, isn't this the beauty of our WLS family here on line...... the

opportunity to connect with each other on a level that is authentic.
