Guest guest
Dear a: It is very encouraging to see that there are others here that know what Neocate is!!! It would be so wonderful to find out if we could help his seizures by getting rid of the Neocate. We have been weaning him VERY SLOWLY by adding some jars of Gerber meats and some pureed veggies and have decreased his formula in 3 of his 4 feedings by nearly 50%. My son doesn't seem to do well with big changes so we have to move very slowly. I did begin giving him digestive enzymes about 2 weeks ago in hopes of helping him digest better. He does seem to be vomiting a little less. He is now getting kind of chunky!! That has not been a problem in the past!! I am excited to be a part of this group and I feel that I can learn a lot here. I am working on trying to gather as much info as possible before I make the change to the SCD for my son. I feel with all my heart that this the place we are supposed to be and because he is 100% tube fed, the diet will be easy for us to do. I am getting pretty excited about it. Thanks for your help and your thoughts. I am here to be a sponge and learn all I can!! Sincerely, Tammy
