Hello again,

Since my dad has returned from the hospital, he has developped

at very active jaw...it is as if he is constantly biting up and down.

The doctor has ordered a blood test to check the level of some of

his medication in case this is causing the mouvement. Does

anyone have experience with this?

Thanks, Joanne

Joanne,

We have not had experience with this but I seem to recall it is a side

effect of too much sinamet. I'm not positive, so hopefully someone else

will chime in!

Joanne and Carol,

It is possible that it is some sort of dyskinesia which is a side effect

of Sinemet. I would certainly see the doctor as soon as possible. Don't

stop the Sinemet without talking to your doctor.

Take care, Bill Werre
