Well group as a matter of fact I got up this morning and have lost another

three pounds. I am down to 260 and steadily descending. I truly love this. I did

get my bicycle today and mind you I havent rode a bicycle since I was a kid

so I get on that thing cause all I ever heard forever is... " Its like riding a

bike...you never forget! " well pooh pooh to that analogy. Here I go in my nice

clothes and some of my dressier shoes and I take off. Nadda. The BIKE TOOK

OFF. It was horrible like it had a mind of its own. I was quickly reminded of

that scarey car and soon realized my life was truly in danger as I saw

it pass before my eyes! FAST TO I MIGHT ADD! Well I crashed and was so hoping

none of the neighbors saw me. I would be mortified if they had. And don't know

that they didn't. I am telling you now that gravity truly sucked at that

moment in time. And to make it worse my fiancee is yelling , don't let the bike

fall, don't let the bike fall! If I could have wrapped that wondrous shining

spoked two wheeled reign of terror around his neck I believe I would have. I

said

da** the bike get my a** up off these rainsoaked road. Guess what he picked

up first? The dadgum bike! I just simply don't remember riding bicycles being

like that. I think he is also psychic to by the way. He bought me a bath spa

matt for the tub and I felt that since I had been tore the He** out of that I

deserved this little bit of wonderful. Ya know...I think he was loving that I

fell. The hysterical laughter emitted from his lungs was a dead giveaway. I just

don't trust him now, lol. Oh well...I just hope I can bust this two wheeled

steel bronco!

Go Wolfie on another three pounds. Where do you come up with your

sense of humor. Your bike riding description had me laughing out loud

as usual. Glad you didn't get hurt to bad. Happy Holidays

Wolfie, I'm not sure to cry or to laugh, as I can see the same thing

happening to me! " Just like riding a bike " certainly doesn't work! Oops

your fiance truly picked up the wrong thing. I wouldn't let him forget it.

haha You have a gift with words. Are you a writer, or done some writing?

I am just so excited for us...For all of us!!! Someone said yesterday not

to forget to be excited for the person who loses 5 pounds or even a half a

pound and I couldn't agree more!!! Some weeks all I get is a half of a

pound and the way I look at it is that is better than gaining a half a

pound!!!! I can't wait for the New Year!!! Just think we are all (even the

Pre-Ops) are starting a New Year with a New Attitude totally focused on our

health and we will be here for a few more years at least than we would have

had...had we not taken the plunge with this life saving surgery.

We are ALL truly blessed!!!

Too funny, wolfie! Your writing is so descriptive, felt like I was

there...I understand where you are coming from though. Since I have

started losing weight, my hubby wants me to do all these things I

couldn't do before and the first one is snowboarding...Imagine, if

you will a 220 pound woman rolling down a snow covered

mountain.OUCH!!! I have visions that by the time I rolled to the

bottom, I would look something like the abomidal(sp) snowman!!! No

thanks! I told him I would watch till I reached about 180. As for the

bike thing, the only one I have been on in years is a stationary one,

and they scare me...Have a wonderful Christmas!!!

Ok Hannah, I can see you too rolling down a snow covered mountain. One

thing is for sure....we haven't lost our sense of humor!!!! I'm like you

I'd like to be closer to 180 before I start the things my husband wants me

to do with him, jet ski, motorcycle, and of course get the stupid seat belt

on for a ride in the Vette. Can you tell he's 54.....the age where they
