Guest guest
, I've been tired, but not to the degree you're describing. I know that when I eat, I am resting because I'm sitting down and relaxing. It does sound weird to me though that you would sleep through a ruckus. I'll be watching to see if someone has an answer to this. After a meal, I become extremely exhausted and have to nap (within about 20 minutes). My whole body feels like a wet noodle and I just can't stay awake. I was driving with hubby the other day and had to pull over so he could drive. I thought I was going to fall asleep at the wheel! It happened again last night. Even with all the noise and festivities, I napped right through it! I don't think it's my sugar as I have never had a problem with this and right before I " crashed " last night, I had a few bites of dessert. I also have no problems with apnea or narcolepsy. HAs anyone else had this problem? The type of meal I eat does not seem to matter. It's just being full (without overeating). Thanks and happy holidays to everyone!!!! 11/18/03 284/249/228 The scale is FINALLY moving!!! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- --

Guest guest
Something like this happened to me about 10 days post op. I was soo tired I would be sitting up and all of a sudden my head would fall back against the chair because I just was too tired to hold it up. After a few days I called the doctor and they brought me in for some blood work. It turned out I had some kind of infection and I had to be re-admitted for 5-6 days. They never determined the cause of the infection. I was put on broad spectrum anti-biotics and they did a million and one different tests on me. In the end they never did figure out what happened. Just the I was sick. Now it didn't happen just after I ate so what is happening to you could be entirely different but you may want to call your doctor and have him check you out.
