Unfortunately the drug store monitors don't work accurately for large arms, and the doctor's office is an hour away. Joan You know something Joan I have been having dizzy spells since the surgery. When I lay down or look up then back down I feel like I am going to fall. I feel just like I have been partying with ' Quervo BIGTIME! I am going to start really watching my blood pressure closer. I have the digital monitor that I had bought a large cuff to go with it but now I can use the regular cuff. That in itself is a milestone for me. I had arms like Arnold Schwartzenegger with all the air let out of em,lol. Now they just look like bat wings, lol. Oh well. Sometimes you gotta take a few wings with the order, lol. Something I have to remind myself of ALL THE TIME is that when I am not losing pounds I am always losing inches. Going from a 32 to a 22/24 is a big accomplishment for this gal so far and hope to be in a 12/14 at the end of the journey to lose weight and inches. Then the comfort zone to maintain from now on will be my life long goal. My b/f bought me a beautiful velvet type blouse for Christmas and I had to take it back because it was so big!!!!!!!! Now that was a MILESTONE for me for sure. As a matter of fact it was probably a first! But girl let me tell you it was nice to go down to an even smaller size. Guest guest
I get the dizzy spells.. usually when I stand up too fast.. and it's usually when I haven't had enough liquids..though it will happen on occasion (rarely) when I have been drinking the heck out of some water.. it's weird and it's definately something I am going to talk with my Doc about at my 6 month check-up.. > Wolfie, LOL...had to take a blouse back because it was too large!!!!
