HI !

My next attempt at relief for this problem is going to be acupuncture. A

little less invasive than the brain surgery I was contemplating :o) My

original

jaw surgeon's partner that I am seeing now is much better with taking me

seriously on the pain. But I'm not sure there is that much they can do other

than

remove the plates and screws (which they did). I just keep on going...trying

to live my life the best I can with what I have. This surgery has put the

nail in the coffin on my marriage (although I have to admit that it isn't the

main problem we have...it just makes the problems that exist so much worse).

Anyway, I read that you were very busy at work...I won't make this long! Good

to hear from you :o)

Hi Caycee,

I thought you were going to try acupuncture last time we talked. It

would surely be a last resort for me because I'm needle-phobic :< I

do have the name & number of a really excellent one in Toronto (or so

I've been told) - I was THAT close to going to one for my low back

pain, it's been relieved with some very specific & regular exercise &

massage/chiro treatment, but it took several years to get there.

I'm so sorry about your marriage problems, when I hear what happens

with many couples, I am grateful for the relationship I do have. It

must be very difficult for you to live with your nerve problems, let

alone anyone else understand what you are going through (although no

excuse for your surgeon).

Keep us posted, I'd like to know how you fare as a human

pincushion : )

Best wishes,
