Guest guest
I had LAP RNY on Tues. Everything went as planned until they removed the breathing tube. I guess I had a major amount of water around my lungs, make it hard to maintain a good oxygen level. They asked me to not take my water pills for 1 week prior to surgery so I would not be dehydrated. That plan fell through!! I stayed until Friday, my pain level is extremely low I haven't had pain meds since the first night. The gas is horrific. I Thought I was gonna have a heart attack. I am happy. I am getting my clear liquids in. No shakes until week 2. I hope all your holidays were great, I wish you all a great 2004.
