Hey everyone! I was wondering when most people started exercising

again after surgery. I have been told that I can start doing mild

activities like running and swimming after 2 weeks, but to avoid all

contanct sports. I've also been told not to lift more than 5 pounds

for 6 weeks to avoid clenching my teeth and disrupting the healing

process. Has anyone else been told this post-op advice? Because I

really want to start lifting weights since I lost 15 pounds of

mostly muscle while I was wired. I did ho jogging today for the

first time, and that went ok, besides me being reallyout of shape. I

wore my bands and I tried not to clench, but if i didn't, my upper

and lower jaw banged together. Anyone else with these problems?

Thanks!
