Guest guest
Until my SURGERY!!! I tried going to sleep a little while ago and that wasn't going to happen. Earlier today I started getting everything ready for the day of surgery (Thurs 12th) and I guess that's got me constantly thinking about EVERYTHING!! Last week I went for my last pre-op and APU appt, I found out they will be doing a little more than expected. Because of what they are doing to my top jaw, they are going to have to do something to my septum, I can't remember exactly what. I'm not worried about the pain, the doc said that I should be pretty numb from them dealing with the nerves plus I'll have good medicine, I'm not even really worried about what I will look like with all the swelling...I'm actually anxious for that! What I am worried about is being able to breath!! I'm so worried that I'm going to have such a hard time with breathing. Is it possible that I will be able to breath out of my mouth at all? My sister had jaw surgery just about 3 weeks ago and she is doing great, she's already got her bands off and everything...but she only had lower jaw surgery. I'm having upper and lower and to make it worse they are doing all sorts of things to my upper jaw!
