HI VERA.

I TOO AM GLAD I GAVE UP MY BULL-HEADEDNESS (AT LEAST A TAD) AND

ACCEPTED THE CHAIR. I'M BACK HOME NOW... AND BULL-HEADED AS EVER :-)

NAW - NOT REALLY.

REALLY TRYING TO ADJUST - AND ACCEPT MY NEW LOT IN LIFE.

IN FACT, WE WERE DISCUSSING IT TODAY, AND I MAY CEASE WORK AS EARLY

AS THE END OF THE MONTH. DONNALEE CAN'T DRIVE AFTER DARK, AND MOST

OF MY WORK WITH CLIENTS IS AFTER 4 P.M. - AND AN HOUR FROM HOME...

MAKES IT PRETTY DIFFICULT WHEN THE SUN WILL BE GOING DOWN AT 5:30 IN

ANOTHER COUPLE OF WEEKS...

REGARDING THE JACKET... NOPE... I KEPT IT ON... YOU SEE, MY FAMILY

HAS TO HAVE THE A/C BLASTING. SO THE HOTTER THEY GET - THE COLDER I

GET.

REALLY WEIRD. IT IS LIKE MY WIFE AND I TRADED PLACES... 2 YEARS

AGO, I WAS THE ONE WHO WAS HOT ALL THE TIME, AND SHE WAS ALWAYS COLD.

NOW IT HAS REVERSED.

OF COURSE, SHE DOES RUN AROUND HERE WITH THERMALS OR EQUIVALENT MOST

OF THE TIME. I TRY TO CONVINCE HER TO DRESS A BIT COOLER, BUT IT

DOESN'T DO ANY GOOD. GUESS OLD HABITS ARE HARD TO BREAK! :-)

WELL... IT IS GOOD TO BE BACK HOME.

DON'T THINK WE'LL BE VENTURING BACK TO CA ANYTIME SOON.

DONNALEE'S SISTER WANTS US ALL TO COME BACK AND HAVE A REUNION AGAIN

NEXT YEAR - BUT... HER DAD AND AUNT WERE A BIT DIFFERENT - AND EVEN

HER BROTHER SAID HE WILL NOT BE GOING BACK TO SEE THEIR DAD (BAD

BACKGROUND - SO MUCH SO - THAT I'M SURPRISED THEY ALL GATHERED THERE

ANYWAY.)

WELL, BEST GET GOING.

NEED TO GO CHECK ON MY NEW DOG.

DID YOU READ THAT POST?

IT WAS HIDDEN IN A RESPONSE TO SOMEONE WHO RESPONDED TO MY POST...

GOTTA GO.

EYES FREAKING - AND BODY IS SIMILARLY ENGAGED... :-)

ALL FOR NOW

BY THE WAY... THANKS FOR THE WELCOME BACK. I'M GLAD MY HUMOR IS

APPRECIATED. I ALWAYS STRIVE FOR AT LEAST ONE SMILE IN RESPONSE TO A

VISIT (OR IN THIS CASE - POST).
