Yes, my dad had this jaw clinching episodes whenever the Sinemet dosage was

too high or when he was in an " on " period, along with the jerking movements,

characterizing he was over-dosed. It was hard to guess when to dose him, and

during the late stage, he spit out the pills or hid them in his mouth.

Sinemet was a life line, but also a problem if he didn't have much in his

stomach.

uncontrolled chin mouvements

Hello again,

Since my dad has returned from the hospital, he has developped

at very active jaw...it is as if he is constantly biting up and down.

The doctor has ordered a blood test to check the level of some of

his medication in case this is causing the mouvement. Does

anyone have experience with this?

Thanks, Joanne

Rick,

Thanks for sharing that information with me. I would like to know

what the problems your dad had when he had an empty

stomach. My father is not eating much. Also in what way was

Sinemet a lifeline for your father. My dad is apparently on a low

dose and I'm not sure what it is doing. Thanks Joanne
