Guest guest
Thank you for your reply. My OS said that it was no problem to have them both done at the same time, but I am still a little unsure if that is what I want to do. I will be wired for up to 10 days, and I am worried about having difficulty breathing. -------------- Original message -------------- I just recently had my deviated septum fixed (2 weeks ago yesterday)... so no, I did not have them done at the same time. And while I was at it, I threw in a good ol' nose job too Anyway, I was told by both my ENT and by the orthognathic surgeon that it was easiest & best to do them separately (orthognathic & septoplasty)- at least for and on me. I'm sure for some people it wouldn't matter one way or the other, depending on how much work is actually needed. Have you talked to your surgeons about what they reccommend? > Has anyone had lower advancement and surgery to correct a deviated > septum at the same time? If you did, was is very difficult to > breath? Thanks for all the info I get from this site. Tamra
