Thank you for your reply. My OS said that it was no problem to have them both

done at the same time, but I am still a little unsure if that is what I want to

do. I will be wired for up to 10 days, and I am worried about having difficulty

breathing.

I just recently had my deviated septum fixed (2 weeks ago

yesterday)... so no, I did not have them done at the same time. And

while I was at it, I threw in a good ol' nose job too :)

Anyway, I was told by both my ENT and by the orthognathic surgeon

that it was easiest & best to do them separately (orthognathic &

septoplasty)- at least for and on me. I'm sure for some people it

wouldn't matter one way or the other, depending on how much work is

actually needed.

Have you talked to your surgeons about what they reccommend?
