Guest guest
Wow, Candi, you have great resolve. I do occasionally eat carbs, but just a bite or so. Once in 3-1/2 months is phenomenal! Guest guest
Thanks Beth......Yes, eating protein only is very difficult and it really makes me not want to eat, so it does help. Eatin to me is very boring now. My food changes from day to day along with what I like, but I eat eggs, chicken with cheese melted on it, beef, ham, turkey and lots of seafood. Seafood is the easiest for me. It goes down the best. Hopefully, on Thursday I will be able to add salad. I am about 7 pounds away from my 75% excess weight loss, but they might tell me to go ahead. You cant imagine how much you can miss a salad after 6 months. Hope this helps. Mindi 277/175/125?? Lap RNY 6/26/

Guest guest
Thank you Joan! Yes, I'm excited to be down 100 pounds in 5 months, but patience is not my strong suit. I want all this weight gone, but I keep reminding myself 100 lbs is gone FOREVER. I will NOT go back to 300 pounds ever again, that is a promise I'm making to myself. I've never been more happier with myself then I am right now. I just fit into a size 16 lane bryant. Just think one more size (14) and I'm OUT of shopping at LB forever. I loved them and I thank god they existed to help me all these years, but I want to shop in regular stores from now on. Thanks again! Guest guest
Beth, I'm not particularly patient either, but know I can't wave the magic wand and have it gone, so I'll just keep going along with the program. I just noticed we weigh the same today! I hadn't looked at any of my smaller clothes, but found a sweatshirt in the closet today I haven't worn for about 10 years.....and it fit!!! Nothing like these small things make my day.... Joan LAP RNY 11/18/03 Dr. Higa, Fresno, CA 282pre-op/275surg/239/
