Guest guest
Hi , nice to hear from you again, you and I have had our surgeries pretty close together, I was 8 weeks post-op yesterday, so it's nice to " compare " our stories a bit. Sorry to hear about your continuous numbness, with me the left side of my lower lip and chin feels a bit funny still, not numb though, it's an altered sensation. It does not bother me at all. I also still have some swelling along the rightside of my jawline and the rightside of my nose/upper lip. All very little, but noticable to me. Especially the lip one I'm a bit worried about, I can't seem to figure out if this is swelling or maybe my upper lip got stitched back a bit " off " . My upper lip just seems a little off compared to my lower lip and compared to my nose. It's funny you should say that about your chin always having been off. My nose has always been slightly off but it is more noticable now as well. My front teeth are closing up pretty nicely (had SARPE), but with all this stuff going on in my face, I just have no idea what exactly the middle or the midline of my face and/or teeth is! All I know that it's also off balance, like you. Hope that will change... I agree that flossing is almost impossible, can't open wide enough yet for the back PLUS I still have the expander in (will come out in sept). I'll try to post some pictures today or tomorrow! Good luck with you and keep us posted. Nathalie > Hey all, > > I miss you guys, really! It has been almost two weeks since i've > checked in!
