Guest guest
Hey, Has anyone tried those lo-carb wraps they keep advertising for Subway? I think someone said they have alot of sodium in them but they sure look good on the commercials. It seems like if a food is lowfat or lowcarb or lowsugar they have to put too much of something else in it! Anyways, I'm not to the point that I can eat much yet but I'm hoping for variety so if anyone has comments about them or the new low-carb breads than let me know. Thanks!! Guest guest
I found it interesting to find that the sandwich has less carbs then the wrap. Whatever you have, just eat whats ever inside. Of course, that's generally my choice of thinking out of habit. There's some great sandwiches out there with lots of protien, just don't eat the bread Enjoy! Guest guest
Hi, I just wanted to point out that this link is for nutrition information for the regular wraps Subway has offered for quite a while now. These are not the Atkins low-carb wraps they have just introduced. I have not found exact nutrition information on them, but if you go to http://www.subway.com/subwayroot/index.aspx information on these NEW wraps is on the front page ... I think it says 11 net carbs. Way better than the 45 or so I saw on the regular wraps. The old wraps were made with a flour tortilla. These new ones are made with wheat gluten and soy flour. There are only two flavors available right now for the low-carb wraps -- turkey and bacon melt wrap (with monterrey cheese) and chicken bacon ranch melt wrap (with swiss cheese). And now because of the explosion of Atkins low-carb stuff, it seems they are encouraging you to keep the cheese on your sandwich -- whereas before, they told you to take it off to keep the subs under 6 grams of fat. I just find it interesting how the restaurant industry is now bowing down to diet trends. It's not such a bad thing when there's an obesity epidemic in our country.
