i want to know if anyone else has done this and did it give you weird swelling.

it was done by dr. bitter (i love his office...all of them are very nice) he

said he was going to combine the photofacial with the cool touch. i know i need

to wait and let it heal but i have these elongated swellings. my whole face is

not swollen, only about 5 spots that feel like the rectangular shape of the

laser and are swollen. feels like nodules under the skin. is this collagen or

swelling or something?

he was very helpful in trying to figure out my unique situation, and that he has

a few other patients like me. we discussed things to bring up with Kaiser, my

HMO.

also, today i got the results of one of my lab tests that showed i do indeed

have hyperthyroidism. i am wondering if this if playing a part in my problems?

if anyone can respond and tell me if they had localized, elongated swellings...i

could use the reassurance. for now i'm using ice and Cleocin T topical

antibotic.

thank you so much,

Angie

This is exactly what I had following photoderm and vbeam. Like you described

the swelling was the shape of the laser. You couldn't really see the swelling

on my face but it was apparent to the touch. It lasted about 2-3 days.
