Guest guest
Bella -- What kind of Vita-K did you use? They have it in various formulations that contain differing combinations of ingredients-- one formulation for " Spider Veins " , another for " Blotchy Skin " , etc. It sounds to me like the formulation you used probably had hydroquinone(typically used to 'bleach' skin) in it -- and sometimes it can take a while for the effects of this agent, which alters melanin production, to show up on the surface of the skin. I can't think of any other ingredient that would cause the unusually delayed bleaching reaction you experienced. Are you sure it was this Vita-K cream that caused this? Could it have been anything else? I use the one for spider veins in the hopes that the vitamin K and the grapeseed extract are beneficial to my skin -- don't think its making me any paler (alas) but it is one of the few moisturizing preparations I can use on my face. -- Jillian > Hi - This winter (Jan-feb) I came across a post that mentioned that > the cream " Vita K " would help with the redness, so I decided to try > it.
