Guest guest
If I had to do it over again & had an option I would have gone for the surgery as the sedation & manual stretching was horrid & I tolerate pain fairly well. But I was in so much pain afterwards that I took the pain pills I was given (I usually will opt for Tylenol extra or Ibuprofen 800) & slept through a burglary at my house. Yep, burglar came through my childrens bedroom window, knocking down curtains & such (luckily the girls slept throught it) & stole the vcr in the living room & walked out the back right past my open bedroom door. I had turned down the baby monitor which was across the hall & if I hadn't taken the pain pills probably would have woke up & gone to see what was up & walked right in on the burglar. So I guess even pain is a blessing at times. I know it hurts but eventually it will be a thing of the past. I don't have any problems with my jaw joints anymore if that is any comfort to you.
