Guest guest
At three and a half months out does anyone know if we can tolerate canned cashews at all? Had my three mo. check-up and all is going really good. My potassium is very low so I'm on that now.My surgeon was really pleased with me.My bP is great and I've been cut way back on my bp meds. I was on three, and the dr has taken one away and cut the other two in half. And one of the two is a water pill. So hopefully I'll be off them totally soon. Hope y'all had a great holiday season. Happy New Year to everyone!! I for one am glad it's over!!! Dealing with all of the party food and treats was not particularly fun for me, but now I get to listen to all of the " lose weight " ads on television knowing that's exactly what I'm doing. I do feel very much like I am now on the other side!!! LoriB LAPRNY 10/3/03 228/177/135and maybe lower

Guest guest
I'm less than 8 weeks out and have been eating cashews, pistachios and peanuts for weeks (I just added walnuts with no problem). Just be sure to chew them into oblivion! Aside from cashews, having to shell the other nuts keeps me from eating too fast. 11/18/03 288/249 pre op/221/? Guest guest
Me too, been eating cashews (my favorite) and pistachios since 5 weeks post-op. But like anything else, it might be good to start with a few and see how it goes.
