Guest guest
Candi, you're so on!!! This is exactly what I've been facing, at only about 7 weeks. I too need more variety. The same thing gets boring, so I tend to not eat as much as I should. I have a file with all the wonderful suggestions, and I'm going to look through it to find some changes. I literally stuffed my way through a protein bar last night because I know I needed the protein, and if I didn't do it then, I probably wouldn't. What it did for me was give me diarrhea. I'm sure I ate too much at once. That's the first time I'd done this, but should have known better. So I'm going to get lots more liquid today, especially as after the diarrhea I had leg cramps last night. Guest guest
It is a pain. I have to work on this. I find things that work fine and so I stick with them but then life gets pretty boring. Today I went to lunch with hubby. He wanted to go to O'Charleys. They have CheeseSteak Sandwhiches there. So I told him to order what he wanted and I cut a one inch slice from one end and that's what I had. It was really good and I realized it was the seasoning that made it good. I just have to start spicing things up again. I have always been a spicey food kinda girl and I think the fact that I am really craving it means I can start trying more spices in my food again. You should check the package on the protein bar you ate and see if it has malitol or sorbitol or anything else ending in " ol " . Those are sugar alcohols and they cause diarrhea in alot of people. When I first bought protein bars I bought about 10 different kinds and took them to my nutritionist and she took all of them out of the bag that had " sugar alcohols " in them and threw them in the trash. Told me not to eat them ever. Candi RE: getting in protein? Candi, you're so on!!! This is exactly what I've been facing, at only about 7 weeks. I too need more variety.
