Guest guest
Wow, Carol, i am impressed with your " mincing " and eating straight Garlic. I love garlic too, but could not even imagine doing that!! I have taken the non-odoress garlic pills in the past, when they were being advertised as increasing your immunity. Did not seem to help mine. If it helped me at all, it is becasue I had such a bad garlic smell, that no one would come near me, so I did not get anyone's germs!!! I know that they are being advertised as heart healthy too. > Haven't seen anything on this lately, but thought I'd toss out the info I > just picked up from the 11/02 issue of " Taste for Life " (yeah, I know, I'm a > little behind in my reading). > > Prevention of yeast infections is greatly aided by a diet with little to no > sugar or refined carbohydrates. And of course, there IS a reason why they make the odorless pills, lol. Don't know why, tho, swallowing a non-odorless garlic pill would give you garlic breath while swallowing minced raw garlic (without chewing) does not do the same thing. Maybe it has something to do with the processing involved in making the pills....... Carol A
