Hey all...

I've been a member here for quite sometime but have rarely posted

(sorry I'll do better =)

I recently had my surgery on Jan. 7th and will be starting my pureed

diet this weekend. Can any of you give me some creative ideas, other

than the baby food idea??

Thanks in advance!!

Hugs...

HI ,

I am 9 wks out and I remember the puree' stage very well. I still

have to puree' some foods. My surgeon told me that you can puree'

just about anything. I never ate baby food. I was told to put it in

a blender and mix very well.

Here are some of the things I was allowed to eat:

green beans

mac & cheese

any creamed soups (potato, broccoli,onion,chicken)

soupy mashed potatos

yogurt (lived off yogurt for 5 wks..lol)

I also put tuna fish(in water drained) in a blender and added a lil

fat free mayo that is pretty good.

Bur ask your Dr or his nurse...they casn give you a good idea of

what you cn eat...Since every Dr is diff.

Hoped this helped
