Hello Everyone,

I'm new here and was hoping that someone could share their

experience. I had both upper and lower jaw surgery 7 wks ago and

I've been having a bit of trouble. First, because of muscle spasms

I've been experiencing electrical charges that fire up through my

teeth. Muscle relaxers take care of most of the problem but I'm

wondering when it will go away. I have had terrible sinus problems

and I've been experiencing LOTS of bad ear aches...it really hurts.

I also have absolutely no feeling in my upper jaw - teeth, roof of

mouth, gums. I'm starting to get nervous but my doctor says it will

come back. I'm still very sore and my mouth doesn't open very

much. This is the first time in my life that I've had a physical

problem and I'm having difficulty dealing with it. Has anyone

experienced any of this...and if so, how long will my recovery be.

I would sincerely appreciate any info you could give. -Livia
