Guest guest
Okay, I am not stalking Tom Pooler, but I just had to post this link that I found while on a Kaiser jaw surgery searching expedition. http://www.sacbee.com/content/politics/local_government/story/10623738 p-11542447c.html Looks like he's pretty busy these days. Guest guest
Sorry, Jo. The link gets cut by the wrap-around Yahoo forces on the text. You could try cutting and pasting instead. Or even better, here's the text: Politicians love to jawbone, as they say. But not Tom Pooler, candidate for Elk Grove City Council District 1. At least not right now. Pooler, beset by a misaligned jaw and a painful condition affecting the temporomandibular joint (that's long for jaw joint), had corrective surgery at Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in Oakland in mid-August. These days Pooler, who is one of four people challenging incumbent Jim for the seat, has to choose his words cautiously. So how does a City Council candidate campaign when the basics of the job - the ability to freely move said jaw - are challenged? The answer: Carefully. Pooler has a brace and two rubber bands that rein in jaw movement. He assures us the bands can be removed, if necessary. Recovery is expected to last through September. In the meantime, Pooler say he expects to do " a pretty good job " campaigning. After all, he added, he talked to a reporter, didn't he? > > > > > > HI Tom, > > > > > > Hoping you are healing well....drop an update out when you can. > > It's > > > been a while! > > > > > > Jo
