Guest guest
I am 8 wks post-op upper and genio. Have titanium plates which will not be taken out (god willing) going up along side my nose area and in my chin ....here's my question...as the weather begins to change here, and the cold is coming, I feel different sensations... wonder does everyone have these feelings? and what should I expect come the hot weather, I mean I had this in Aug and it was sure hot, but I was still new to this and healing then... I will say that while I used to get major sinus pressure and pain pre- rain that's gone with the polyps and deviated septum fixed...and that's awesome. Now I just get a little pressure sometimes with rain- but no pain. and while the cold didn't " hurt " it gave me some spazam ouchies, that lasted a few seconds and left...just like a reminder that something is in there but nothing to make me shutter in pain. Is this common, will it always be like this and what about being outside in the cold, I still hate to shiver (and I am one of those people even when it gets cool who shivers easily-always have been) and HATE that...it just hurts with all the tension that happens in my jaw... so fill me in please.
