Guest guest
, Well, I hope you are ready for your big day tomm. I know I am. Tonight I went to the Cheesecake Factory for dinner. I pigged out on crab cheese wontons, bbq chicken pizza, and of course, white chocolate rasberry truffle cheese cake for dessert. I got my stitches out from my bone graft and that is feeling much better. I also picked up the last of the things for after my surgery. I hope i didn't forget anything. Well, I will see you on the other side. Post me as soon as you are feeling up to it.

Guest guest
Hey Buddy:) Glad to hear you had a great night out and that your other stiches were removed. I am doing much better than I have the past couple of days ... physically and mentally. Now this morning the nerves have set in full force. I haven't slept very well but keep telling myself that my docs will be taking care of that for me soon enough lol. My husband and mom went out yesterday after we sat and made a list and got all the rest of my " pre-surgery " stuff that I knew I needed. I was worried about what to take with me tomorrow so I called my surgeons office yesterday afternoon. The nurse really helped me by reasurring me that everyone will be there to take care of me so not to worry so much about the small stuff. She said come comfy in your jammies if you can and the only thing she said I really might want to bring of my own is a pare of socks. She said I would be in her prayers and then asked me you know what the only other thing you need to do is ... just be yourself. They also gave me the name and number of someone else that had surgery very much like mine ... and talking to someone that had recently been through it and had a very positive experience was very calming as well. My husband will be staying with me the entire time I am in the hospital. He has been absolutely wonderful the past few days and has truly been my rock. I check in to the hospital this morning at 11am CST and my surgery is to begin at 1pm. I will post again after I get home and feel up to it. Know that you will be in my thoughts and prayers and we will both come through this with flying colors. Take Care ...
