Guest guest
LOL.....a light bulb moment is a good call for my thoughts! I am 3 years post-op, and have been struggling with that typical (or seems to be typical in most cases) the 'normal' weight rebound after reaching my goal weight. I have been putting lugging it around with me like it was the ORIGINAL 130 pounds that I lost instead of the 18 pounds that it is.....and it hit me like....well, like 18 pounds, that ~~ 18 pounds isn't much to lose, in fact, compared to 130, it is only a fraction of what I have already done already. And, although I was a new post-op, I still have my tool (pouch), I can still " choose " what I put into it. And, the bonus is, when I finally got my *ss in gear, back to the gym, back on track with my water, vit & sups, protein,,, all the good stuff, things fell into place rather quickly. It didn't take " months " for my jeans to fit again, instead only just over a week. So, to anyone out there who is having a difficult time with weight rebound, it really doesn't take as long to get back to where we were, IF we take the necessary steps....think, you could be wearing those special pair of jeans in one to two weeks from now????? ~smile~ take care, KJ ~~ down 6.5 # from 18 # rebound weight gain ~~ (11.5 more to go..one at a time)
