Hi, This is NEVER a HOT discussion group. This is a first and I am sure it

will settle down quickly. I myself do not even know what happened. I do know

this is a GREAT group and the ladies that run it have ALWAYS been there for me

with positive thoughts, ideas, well wishes and prayers. I have been here for

about 17 months give or take a month and it is very nice here. Welcome aboard

Hi Kev....welcome to the group!!!!! I had the surgery on Sept 17th2003......how

are things Down under? sherri

Hello from Australia

Hi all. I am a new member looking for contact with others who have

experienced the gastric bypass journey. This message board certainly

looks very active, and it seems that sparks are flying. Hope it all

settles down soon and everyone can participate in a friendly manner.

Regards

Big Kev.

Hi Sherri

Thanks for your message. Things are OK mostly.

I had my Lap bypass on 10th December 2003. I chose to go-it-alone.

There are no groups that I know of in AU that are active.

Some details:-

Pre-op 130kgs (286lbs)

now 107kgs (236lbs)

I guess it's only been a few weeks but I think I need to talk to

others who have done it. A little lonely (not family wise, just seem

to be out in the cold wise) at the moment, cause I can't seem to

interact with family members over meals etc.

Kind regards
