Guest guest
I am in need of a revision (from a proximal to a distal RNY). Does anyone know of a site that specifically addresses revisions? Please send your response to me at Thanks in advance for your help! Peggy

Guest guest
May I ask why that is required? Is it because you are not loosing weight? Perhaps the answer lies elseware. I don't mean to be the least bit harsh. : I required a revision due to a staple line disruption. Along with that I had ulcers, bleeding and relentless vomiting. A lot of people don't get sick when they get a staple line disruption, they just find they can eat a heck of a lot more than they could previously. My first wls the surgeon created a pouch off of my stomach and bypassed 4' of intestine. The revision, he transected my stomach, created a new pouch and re-hooked up the plumbing so to speak. Hope this clarifies the revision thing for you. Different reasons for different people. Regina
