I saw my ortho for the first time since my upper/lower/genio surgery

and had my second post-surgical visit w/my OS yesterday.

Everything looks great according to both docs. My elastics were

reconfigured, and I can expect new reconfigurations based on how I'm

healing for the next 2-3 weeks.

I'm getting rather bored of the liquid diet, but I'm continuing to

hang in there. I think by next week I can graduate to foods that can

be eaten out of a spoon.

The swelling is still very noticeable, and I have some bruising on one

side and under my chin, but it's continuing to dwindle. I'm still

struggling to breathe at night, and my nose is probably the part of my

body that is still suffering the most.

For the most part, I am in good spirits and will enjoy the rest of my

week off from work!

Did your docter give you a decongsetion and some nose spray? I could

not breathe at all out of my nose until he gave me those two things.

Now I can breathe so much better and I am only two days post op.
