Guest guest
Ohmigosh! I have a size 22 Lee jeans I've wanted to wear and I have to lose another 20-30 pounds before I can squeeze into them But in my other jeans I am wearing a size 18 and I am wearing size 20 in my work slacks. Whar ARE these people at Lee thinking??? Open RNY 8/7/03 316/219/150 So close to the Century Club I can taste it! -- Boycott Lee Jeans!!!! I am sooooo darn mad!!!! I have been so frustrated that I am still in a 16. Now granted the 16 is getting pretty big but I just could not squeeze into the 14 I have. Well today we were going to see My in-laws and take them to lunch. suggested that I try on the new slacks I just bought at Wal-Mart. I told him they would not fit as they are a 14. He said he thought they would since my 16's were so loose. I said no they won't I just tried on the jeans a couple of days ago and they don't fit. They are actually loose on my legs and tukus but will not close in the front. He said " Just try " ...so of course I relented and tried them on. I will be damned but no only do they fit......they are loose!!!! I was like how can that be? Must be just a generous size. well I bought 2 pairs of 14's so I tried the other pair on since it is a different maker. SAME THING!!!!! Then I tried the jeans on.....still not happening. Finally I took out the size 12 jeans that I also had hanging in the closet. I buttoned and zipped both pairs and guess what???????? The Lee jeans (Size 14) were smaller than the size 12. Well no wonder I could not get them on!!!!! Now I bought all of these jeans from a thrift store and I thought maybe they mis-marked them so I checked the tag. Nope they say 14. I thought... " hmmmm maybe they are petites? " ...checked the tag again...nope it says regular. So then I got out the tape measure....The " 14's " are 1 inch smaller in the waist than the 12's. Granted the 12's are Guess. I think it is a conspiracy!!!! Lee Jeans is trying to make us feel fatter than we are!!!! So I am a size 14!!!!!! and look out 12's I am coming home soon!!!!!!! OK now I feel so much better!!!! Candi

Guest guest
Sorry, I had to laugh when I read your story, as I am losing weight I have vowed not to buy clothes from retail stored yet. I have been strictly shopping at thrift stores, except one pair of jeans(my bro gave me money to buy...he was tired of my clown pants)...anyway, of course at thrift stores, there are so many brands and i am just going into an 18, 20's are baggy, but for whatever reason some of the 18's don't fit...how frustrating!! I ended up buying a couple of pairs of work pants that are of course snugger than i want them to be and i was so mad at myself for the minor thrift store indulgence and for thinking that they would fit...now I am quite sure that Lee is not the only one to watch out for...shame on them!! Guest guest
I know exactly what you mean. Their jeans are cut sooooo small.
