Question about D

My D also runs very high, or did. After the first couple of sets of labs, I

changed my calcium supplement to one which does not have D added to it. Half of

my calcium has D, half of it doesn't. That was enough to drop my range back to

normal.

Have u looked at the labels on ALL the bottles of supplements you take and

added up just how MUCH D you're getting in total each day? Lots of things

have a little D here, and a little D there. It all adds up. Once u know the

total, try reducing it by a coupld hundred iu a day and see if that helps.

In my shakes I use 500 mg of powdered calcium citrate (NOW products). The

capsules I take in doses of two capsules per dose (2 or 3 doses depending on

whether I have one or two shakes), which contain 600 mg calcium citrate, 100

IU Vitamin D, 300 mg magnesium, 15 mg zinc, 1 mg copper, and 5 mg maganese.

I didn't particular want all that other stuff, but it came with the capsules.

And lest anyone get their panties in a bunch, I have verified the calcium

weight as elemental calcium weight.
