Guest guest
Good Luck . I understand how frustrating exercise can be when simple movements are difficult. Although anything done now will help you recover faster. Maybe you could try some chair aerobics or something like that? Something you can do at home and not having nosy people stare at you? Candi Personal Thoughts Dear Group, Perhaps I made a mistake in doing this, but when I made the decision to go for WLS I also made a decision to wait on any additional workouts and this is why. At 480+ getting to the YMCA was a chore in itself in that I was embarrased to get on a city bus. I would use a lift everytme I got on the bus and in fact, I have had drivers pass me up simply because I was standing and not using a whelchair. Now this is not to say that I do not get any exercise, because I do. When there are places that I have to go like the doctor, store, or any other important thing, but until I can get the surgery it is just getting tooo hard for me to do the things I need to do. This is one of the reasons that these lists and you all are so important to me right now. I save and charish all the encouraging emails. Thank you!! I wish you the best, I don't think not " exercising " before the surgery will hurt you much, it's going to be hard enough for me not to eat cheesecake, in antispation of not eating it again take care > Dear Group, > > Perhaps I made a mistake in doing this, but when I made the decision to go > for WLS I also made a decision to wait on any additional workouts and this is > why.
