Guest guest
Hi Livia. With apologies for being late in responding, at almost 5 months post op, I still have numbness in my upper gums and palate. Although, it seems to be getting better. I was told to expect this and that in time the feeling will come back. I do not have the stabbing pains or burning in my upper palate. Those sensations have been reserved for my lower left chin . . . LOL!!! Sometimes more intense that at other times. Hopefully those nerves are getting their act together. Will just wait and see how far along I will be when I am one year post op! Other than having tiny bit of residual swelling inside my mouth, I am doing fine. Take care Livia and best of luck to you!
