Guest guest
......there are probably a couple of things to consider. Technically I do think they are OK carb wise. I do not dump on these kind of bars/candy........and I would if the whole carb count was " real. " They are also fine for my hubby who does " strict " Atkin's.......we both test with the keto sticks and these items do not kick us out of ketosis. BUT, and here is the big but (no pun intended)......what will they do to you mentally. I have to avoid them for the most part because I find that they put me in the " mode " of eating junk. They might not effect my blood sugars.....but they do effect my mentality. Once I start to eat them I find it too easy to slip over into the other junk................ P. Can we really just count " net " or " usable " carbs? > On the netrition website, under " very low carb " foods, I see alot of > products with a higher carb count, but due to fiber content which > they subtract from the carb count, it has a low " net " or " usable " > carb value.
