Guest guest
I am sure by the time you read this you are already starting to feel better. Every day you will improve, trust me. I am now 2 1/2 weeks post op and am doing great. Swelling is at a minimum, the OS removed a few of the bands so opening is not as tight for talking, breathing, and eating. As far as the numbness, i am told everyone is different. I have most of my feeling back already. Exception to this is my left cheek and chin, even there I feel the " electric shocks " which I am told is " a good sign " . Today I even returned to the gym to ride the bike for an hour. Stay positive, get plenty of rest and sleep. Watch some movies and relax this too will pass. I'm sure you are happy you are post op vs pre op, in place of the anxiety you can focus 100% on getting better! Hang in there!! -- In orthognathicsurgerysupport , " shausue " <shausue@y...> wrote: > > Hello, > I just had orthognathic surgery on both upper and lower jaw and had > my chin done.
