If your doc were gonna use it on you, you'd probably have heard about it before now. But if it's gonna worry you, just ask. I don't remember having heard of anybody having to use headgear AFTER surgery. I think, but don't know, that it's sort of an either/or situation. The surgery does what the headgear is not likely to accomplish, I think.
