Debbie,

Congrats!!

I looked at the pictures, she is beautiful.

This is not off topic, this is the topic. Living life like it was never

possible when we were MO.

Thanks to everyone for all the congratulations. This has been a life long

dream of mine. But because of knee problems and size issues, I would NEVER

have TRIED anything like this. I used to go to every local show I could

find. Just to watch and talk to the handlers and see the dogs. And even

though there are PLENTY of MO handlers/breeders/owners of dogs out there

actively showing. I guess I just couldn't bring myself to do it. Funny thing

is...I was NOT a shy MO woman. I dressed to the NINES....kept my hair

colored and quaffed to perfection...and always had my make-up done. But for

some reason...there was something keeping me OUT of the ring. I didn't even

START looking for a show dog UNTIL I was two years out from my surgery! So,

maybe the clothes, hair and make-up were just hiding something I wasn't

aware of. Lack of self assurance perhaps? HUMMM Bad self image more then

likely. My, how times change perspectives.
