Guest guest
Hello all you brave souls I think I have just discovered that my " centrum A-Zinc with lutein " daily vitamins are sometimes not disssolving-- with as much as half of each tablet being excreted without 'melting. " (don't ask) I need a good daily vitamin that has 100% RDA iron and the other usual good things in it each day that is digestable and non-constipating. I am a very proximal rny. And ancient in age. Does anyone have a vitamin they are sure dissolves ok? Maybe a chewable? You know, I just wonder if Centrum has some tablets in a single bottle that are like, um, hmmm, like more jammed up with more glue than other ones in the same bottle. You know, like have too much binder in them and don[t dissolve. I found that the excreted hard remains of the tablets will NOT dissolve in a cup water (don't ask). They've been standing in that water for about two hours now. (dont ask) I bought this Centrum at Costco. The expiration date is 12/93. I feel I can't take a chance like this again. I used to take Flintstonees chewables (two a day) ever since surgery, but coudn't hardly stand the sour taste and so changed to Centrum about 3-4 months ago. Maybe its part of why i have been so exhausted. I hope I have not hurt myself. Should probably go have blood drawn asap maybe. thanks for any help you can give love, ceep g-mom

Guest guest
Ceep, Is this a typo? If not, better file them with the " standing water, " but if you still have the receipt, try to get your money back! As for your question, I'm afraid I can't help there, as I still do a couple of Flinstone's Complete every day. I just can't handle pills well. Hugs, in NJ ******************** >> > I bought this Centrum at Costco. The expiration date is 12/93.

Guest guest
I am not ancient in age (tho I aspire to become so) or proximal. I have heard that there are adult chewables out there. Do you have a pharmacy that is associated with a medical complex? WE have one near by and they carry things I have NEVER seen in Drug stores! Also, there are still pharmacy's that can MAKE UP meds for you. There is one in Bremerton where I used to live and they could make things for you based on what you need. Like a Calcium that actually DISOLVED in a drink instead of being grit at the bottom of the glass. I am just wondering what you would come up with if you went to www.google.com and did a search on adult chewable vitamins. I buy the Costco chewable vits and they taste different then the Flinstone ones.
