Guest guest
I had a three piece lefort 1(upper jaw moved down and forward and widened) 11 weeks ago this Thursday. Everything has healed as expected and gone really well. However, withing the past few days when I bite down on something I can feel pressure in my sinuses and my nose will start to run. I was also wondering if anyone had any problems with breathing or if breathing can be changed after the surgery? I see my ortho. tommrow and the dentist next wensday and the surgeon the day after that so I am not too nervouse. But was just wondering if anyone else had this and new if it was cause for concern or not?

Guest guest
The whole runny nose thing...that kept sneaking up on me until around 5-6 weeks or so...out of no where...clear dripping...mostly annoying and reason to look like Grandma with a tissue tucked up your sleeve And breathing may change, but I am not the best one to ask that to since I had sinus polyps and a deviated septum unknowingly adn they were both also corrected with my upper/genio surgery...but sure mine did a ton...I can smell anything a mile away now...something that's wonderful, other times---oh my, not so nice JO > > I had a three piece lefort 1(upper jaw moved down and forward and > widened) 11 weeks ago this Thursday.
