I had upper and lower jaw surgery on October 13. It will be exactly

4 weeks this upcoming Wednesday. I have been having a little

difficulty swallowing at times. It seems to be worse at night. It is

like my muscles are really tight and having trouble with the process

of swallowing. My surgeon told me my uvula was scratched while the

oxygen tubes were being put down my throat. Did this happen to

anyone else during their surgery? How long did it take to return to

normal? My last questions is related to the swelling. How long did

it take you to feel your face looked " normal " again? My cheeks are

still pretty puffy and the right side of my neck. Numbness is still

in my chin and right side of my cheek. Any advice or information

would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
