Guest guest
How far post-op are you? I was able to take Da-quil and Ny-quil when I got sick at about 8 weeks postop. Just sip slowly as these may contain sugar and alcohol. I took 1/2 dose, waited about 3 minutes then took the rest. I think Tylenol cold meds would be OK too. I ended up with bronchitis, so see your doc early for the deep cough. Feel better! 11/18/03 284/249 preop/202/?

Guest guest
Hello Lori, you can take Tylenol, have the pharmacist do a liquid suspension, tell the doctor to write the prescription. 80% of meds come in liquid suspension, I am going to celebrate 1 year 2/27, and have had no problems thus far, except throwing up a totala of 5 times. Get to know your own body, and when you feel strange after eating something, do not try it again, just leave it alone. I use to love scramble eggs, and tuna fish w/mayo, can't stand it now, and cannot eat roast turkey, only the deli turkey. take care, and be careful. Guest guest
Saundra, Thanks! I did use the Tylenol Cold and Flu but I'm telling ya, if I have to take another liquid med. I think I'll throw up which would be the first time.
