Guest guest
<< Hello everyone! I'm 2 weeks post-op today and was wondering how soon after surgery people were able to comfortably sleep on their stomachs. I had Lap done on 1/30 and have always slept on my side or stomach. I'm having a horrible time sleeping because I can only lay on my back. HELP!!!! >> Kathy, I had an open RNY and was able to sleep on my stomach the day I came home from the hostpital. Funny, now I prefer my back! Wishing you the best, J. mankato, Mn RNY 12/

Guest guest
I slept in a recliner the first week, that was the week I had the drain. And within one week after taking the drain out, I was able to slowly start sleeping like on my stomach but one leg up higher so that it is more like on one side of your stomach...I too am a stomach sleeper, but find that is changing as I lose weight as well. Don't give up hope....it will get better! Carol Matar Post Op 10/31/03 Dr. Adam Naaman - Houston, TX 405/320/135 85 pounds gone forever! Sleeping question Lap posties... Hello everyone!
