Guest guest
I don't think its a question of do you do it every day but rather what his personal philosophy about it is. Is he commited to the same goals you are? If things don't go well will he redo it. Will he fight your insurance company to get you coverage? I think alot of smaller cities (mine is 100,000 and no one does them here!) get less surgeries like this. Face it if you can make good money digging out wisdom teeth why get into BSSO's and Lefortes? Its far more complicated. Shiloh > > I wrote earlier asking anyone to describe the best way to pick a > surgeon. Guest guest
Sounds to me as though you have a good working relationship. I'm hoping you're asking him questions about what he thinks you should do and why -- as well as for some idea of the number of relapses he has. And if you're still feeling good about him, and your ortho works well with him, and you're happy with your ortho, sounds like you're on the road. Guest guest
Hello, I just had surgery on Oct 26. Please, please do check into your surgeon thoroughly. I have had my braces on for three years and was supposed to go to one surgeon. I was going to him for those three years and after the third year when I thought I was supposed to have surgery,he told me he had not done the surgery in three years. He said he could still do it, but did not know if I would feel comfortable with him doing it. I then did a bunch of research and found a surgeon who does it every day and am very pleased with him. I still have numbing, but had very little swelling and very little bruising and very little bleeding. He is very gentle and nice and I really like him. Just please check into them, get referrals, look at pictures of others, etc. > > > > I wrote earlier asking anyone to describe the best way to pick a > > surgeon.
