Surgery next week

Hi all---I am scheduled for an open bypass on Monday. I keep having the

jitters about it all---mostly because i have an very sick 2 year old that

requires

nursing. I do it all of the time and have hired out help for all of next

week and will have help here for several weeks. I just wondered how much

feeling

of doom some of you have. I go in for my presurical ekg tomorrow and I keep

thinking about how it is friday the 13th--then i read about how someones

friend here died after surgery and wonder if it is a bad sign that i just happen

to

read that. I am starting to scare myself i think---and im not a

nutcase---lol---I am a surgical ICU nurse and have taken care of bypass patients

for

years---im just about to chicken out though--anyone else feel like this going
