Having Second Upper/Lower Surgery Tomorrow

I just took a low dosage Valium to take the edge off of any pre-op

nerves. I can't believe that I'm having my second upper and lower

surgery in less than 6 weeks, but I know the results will be worth it,

and my upper and lower midlines will be in line with the center of my

face (they are currently off to one side by 4 mm).

I don't expect there to be any complications, and I anticipate one

night in the hospital. The thought of having to start from square one

from a dietary perspective has really been the hardest thing to cope

with psychologically, especially with food-focused holidays fast

approaching, but I know that the end results will be well worth it!

I will gladly share my second surgery experience once I'm back at

home. I don't expect it to be nearly as extensive as the first operation.
