Guest guest
I wrote earlier asking anyone to describe the best way to pick a surgeon. I met with a surgeon the other week and I pretty much liked everything about this guy. This surgeon and the ortho I met with talk every week about their patients, he's board-certified, and I got along great with the surgeon. The only problem is the number of cases of this jaw surgery the surgeon performs every year. The surgeon used to perform about 1 per week, but (because of more patient insurance denials) he now performs about 8 - 10 per year. Is this a major concern...I mean the guy has been in practice more than 10 years so maybe its not. Any feedback would be great.
