Guest guest
I noticed the same thing about the chicks....they look down their nose at anyone who isn't lean and mean and ready for body build competition. Which is unfortunate....I offer more than the mono- sylabic comments with a nuance of existentialism for simply being there at the same time as they....or the laying on of the " angst " that when applied just right, melts the female gym-rat pumped up heart. And yes...the tiered layout of treadmills and exercise bikes is the only way to enjoy the 30 minutes on cardio. Taking the treadmill behind one of the aforementioned lean, mean, body building femme competitor makes for an enthusiastic and vigorous start to the routines! Now, you can locate the muscle mapping figures at the exercise site and you can expect that area of muscles to firm up and bulge....but, the first week of starting some of those sets is NOT for the faint of heart. I tried a group dealing with the calf extensions....actually seated and simply extending the feet by hinging at the ankle. With years of working those muscles areas from just walking, the upper calf extensions seem pretty easy, no matter the weight loading on the machine. No problemo the day of the event or the following day or so, but it wasn't very long when it became apparent the error of my ways. Those are tender muscles and when they knot up....there's not a lot to do but try to stretch the knots outs by....more upper calf extensions. What a painful loop that has been!! Guest guest
Dan, Which " chicks " are you watching to see who they're watching? Maybe you're not watching the right ones and the ones who are watching YOU are saying the same thing about you that you're saying about those other ladies. (being funny here, btw) Personally, I don't look for the 6-packs or the men who are ready for competition, I like the ones with the nice butts. Preferably when they do those squat things with the barbells. BTW, the barbells aren't even really necessary. I think Evil Ceep is taking over my brain and I'm turning into Evil Terry. ------------------------------------------------ Terry Mayers 5DollarHosting.comR http://www.5dollarhosting.com (877)-838-HOST / .... because it shouldn't cost a fortune to make a fortune! Guest guest
<<I think that Ladies look at what ever they decide to look at. I would LOVE to know if there is a general agreement -- I will work on that part.>> I think this tends to be age/maturity related. The younger women at my gym are ogling the " model " type bodies. The older women, buffed up themselves or not, do seem to ogle based on different preferences. Me? I ogle the men with shaved heads (gads, I have such a thing for a bald head)!
